Most chemical suppliers stop at the delivery note. The material arrives, the invoice clears, and whatever happens next on site is somebody else's concern. That division makes commercial sense until something goes wrong, at which point the contractor is left arbitrating between a supplier who says the product was correct and an applicator who says the specification was wrong.

Water is the primary agent of long-term deterioration in built structures. It carries chlorides and sulphates into concrete, corrodes embedded reinforcement, drives freeze-thaw damage, and undermines the substrate beneath finishes. Almost every expensive structural repair began as a water problem that was cheaper to prevent than to fix.
Gotche Middle East provides waterproofing as a third-party service, drawing on the waterproofing chemicals within our own construction chemicals range. The work spans the situations where water ingress threatens asset life: below-grade structures, roofs and decks, wet areas, and water-retaining elements and the correct approach differs meaningfully between them. A structure holding water in demands a different system from one keeping water out, and a surface subject to thermal movement demands different behaviour from a static one.
Because we source the material as well as apply it, we are not confined to whatever a single manufacturer's system permits. Our structural repairing service addresses defects at the point of failure rather than concealing them. It covers three distinct techniques.
Dry crack injection treats cracks that are dormant and not passing water. The objective here is usually structural: restoring monolithic behaviour to a member that has been compromised, typically by introducing a resin that bonds the crack faces and returns load transfer across the discontinuity. Because the crack is dry, the injected material can bond directly to clean substrate, and the work is as much about restoring capacity as about sealing.
Wet crack injection addresses the harder problem of a crack actively passing water. This is a genuinely different intervention, not a variation on the first. Water at the injection face changes what will bond, changes how the injected material cures, and changes the sequencing of the work. Attempting a dry-crack approach on an actively leaking crack is one of the more common and expensive mistakes in remedial work, and knowing which situation you are actually facing is most of the job. Wet injection typically prioritises stopping the water first, with structural restoration following once the flow is controlled.
Low cover coatings address a defect that is designed-in rather than developed: insufficient concrete cover over reinforcement. Cover is the primary protection steel has against carbonation and chloride ingress, and where it falls short through construction tolerance, displaced reinforcement, or original design the steel begins corroding far earlier than intended. Corroding steel expands, expansion spalls the concrete, spalling exposes more steel, and the process accelerates. Low cover coatings intervene in that cycle by supplementing the protection the cover cannot provide, extending service life without the disruption of removing and recasting the affected element.
Low-viscosity epoxy restores monolithic behaviour in dormant, moisture-free cracks and reinstates load transfer across the section.
Hydrophilic and hydrophobic polyurethane resins seal active water ingress under pressure, then cure to an elastic, permanent barrier.
Migrating corrosion inhibitors and cementitious overlays protect shallow reinforcement where cover depth cannot be increased.
