Gotche Middle East works differently, because we supply the material and perform the work. Our construction chemicals portfolio already includes waterproofing chemicals, crack injection chemicals, geosynthetics, polystyrene board, and polythene sheet. Our engineering services apply that same category of material on site. When one organisation is accountable for both the chemistry and the method, the argument about whose fault it was largely disappears which is, in practice, the main thing a client is buying when they consolidate the two.

Gotche Middle East provides waterproofing as a third-party service, drawing on the waterproofing chemicals within our own construction chemicals range. The work spans the situations where water ingress threatens asset life: below-grade structures, roofs and decks, wet areas, and water-retaining elements and the correct approach differs meaningfully between them. A structure holding water in demands a different system from one keeping water out, and a surface subject to thermal movement demands different behaviour from a static one.
Because we source the material as well as apply it, we are not confined to a single manufacturer's system. Our relationship with Barrelyene International and our sourcing network supports access to international suppliers and products, which means the specification can follow the requirement rather than the requirement bending to fit the specification.
Our structural repair service addresses defects at the point of failure rather than concealing them. It covers three distinct techniques.
Dry crack injection treats cracks that are dormant and not passing water. The objective here is usually structural: restoring monolithic behaviour to a member that has been compromised, typically by introducing a resin that bonds the crack faces and returns load transfer across the discontinuity. Because the crack is dry, the injected material can bond directly to clean substrate, and the work is as much about restoring capacity as about sealing.
Wet crack injection addresses the harder problem of a crack actively passing water. This is a genuinely different intervention, not a variation on the first. Water at the injection face changes what will bond, changes how the injected material cures, and changes the sequencing of the work. Attempting a dry-crack approach on an actively leaking crack is one of the more common and expensive mistakes in remedial work, and knowing which situation you are actually facing is most of the job. Wet injection typically prioritises stopping the water first, with structural restoration following once the flow is controlled.
Low cover coatings address a defect that is designed-in rather than developed: insufficient concrete cover over reinforcement. Cover is the primary protection steel has against carbonation and chloride ingress, and where it falls short through construction tolerance, displaced reinforcement, or original design the steel begins corroding far earlier than intended. Corroding steel expands, expansion spalls the concrete, spalling exposes more steel, and the process accelerates. Low cover coatings intervene in that cycle by supplementing the protection the cover cannot provide, extending service life without the disruption of removing and recasting the affected element.
Low-viscosity epoxy restores monolithic behaviour in dormant, moisture-free cracks and reinstates load transfer across the section.
Hydrophilic and hydrophobic polyurethane resins seal active water ingress under pressure, then cure to an elastic, permanent barrier.
Migrating corrosion inhibitors and cementitious overlays protect shallow reinforcement where cover depth cannot be increased.
Our waste management services cover plastic, chemical, and metal waste streams.

Plastic waste is a recurring reality for the plastics processors and packaging users among our customers, where process waste, off-spec material, and packaging accumulate continuously rather than in one-off events. Metal waste arises across industrial and construction operations, from fabrication offcuts to decommissioned equipment.
The value of handling all three under one system is that most industrial sites generate all three. A manufacturer running a plastics line with chemical inputs and metal fabrication does not want three waste contractors, three sets of paperwork, and three points of failure. Consolidating them mirrors exactly what we do on the supply side, where our breadth lets buyers reduce the number of relationships that have to hold.

A construction contractor sourcing waterproofing chemicals from our range needs those chemicals applied correctly, and the applicator needs to understand the chemistry rather than merely follow a datasheet. A plastics processor buying monomers and polymers from us generates plastic waste that has to go somewhere, and would rather it went somewhere accountable. An oil and gas operator buying our specialty chemicals also has chemical waste, and often needs the wireless corrosion monitoring equipment we sell and service through our UAE and Pakistan offices. Gotche, through its various principals, is additionally involved in the trading of commodity and specialty chemicals for the oil and gas industry, industrial chemicals, and geotextiles and geosynthetics, notably, are frequently specified alongside the waterproofing work described above.
